The main goal of AutomotiveWard.Com for holding an essay writing contest is to make the lives of students across the globe easier. This is not just in the way of helping them with their academic assignments. What the team behind Automotive Ward wants is to award a scholarship worth $1000 to a talented young man or woman who wants to be heard through an essay.

Are you aspiring to be the next Shakespeare? If you answer yes to the question, then we are inviting you to join in our yearly contest! Hop on in if you think your writing and ideas are worth more than good grades that your professor can give you.

AutomotiveWard.Com is a reputable blog and it’s being maintained by a team of editors. These people will be the ones who will award the winner of the essay writing contest with:

  • A scholarship worth of $1000
  • Recognition from the best writers in the country

The winner of the essay writing contest will also get the chance to have their work featured on our website. What’s more, we will share the winning essay through every Automotive Ward social media account. Of course, this is with the permission of the essay’s owner.

Application Eligibility

  • You should be a high school or college student with at least 6 months of post-secondary education.
  • You should be at least 18 years old.
  • You must have a GPA of at least 3.0.

Deadline

The essay writing contest of AutomotiveWard.Com will end on the 15th of February, 2018. The skilled judges are the ones who will review the entries submitted. By the 28th of February, 2018, the lucky winner will be contacted via email or phone call.

All entries that are submitted after the 15th of February, 2018 will be disqualified automatically.

Guidelines

  • Basic essay format on one of these topics: “Maintaining A Car Going 200,000 Miles In 5 Years”, “Car Buyer’s Guide – Vehicle Shopping Resources”, “How To Prevent Thousands Dollars in Costly Car Repairs Every Year”. All essays must have 1,500 to 2,500 words. Although minor deviations are accepted, they are not desirable.
  • All entries will be checked for plagiarism thoroughly. Those who are caught stealing published works of others both online and offline will be disqualified.
  • Essays MUST be written in American English. There are hundreds of languages used daily around the world. We are aware of this fact and we support it. However, rules are rules and every contestant should follow them.
  • The work must be sent in a .docx format.
  • Images may be included in your work. This will grow our attention and your work may earn additional points especially if there is a need for you to illustrate your idea/s.
  • In the document, include your name and contact information. Otherwise, you won’t be reached by our skilled judges. As mentioned previously, the winner will be given instructions regarding the prize collection via phone call or email.

Judging

All the essays that are submitted to scholarship@automotiveward.com will be carefully reviewed by the Automotive Ward’s editors. The best scholarship essay will be chosen by the same people. In order to ensure that the judging is fair, the names of the participants won’t be revealed to the panel of judges.
